A 14-year-old boy struggles to hide his infatuation with a single mom for whom he babysits. After witnessing the unfortunate circumstances of her situation, under the control of her boyfriend, he takes it upon himself to become the responsible man he thinks she needs.

“Corn” is a film that uses the perspective of a young, innocent boy to bring out the struggle of a single mother who lives between life pressure and her unattainable dreams.  It conveys the significance of solving the vicious cycle of poverty, then helps the underprivileged minority regain the right to have dreams.
