An 8-year-old girl has to hold onto the image of a happy family after her father ran away from home.
"Dolly" is a film that describes an eight-year-old girl who uses her imagination of the Christmas celebration atmosphere, pretending to be a perfect family image to cover up her broken family. It highlights the kind of environment we build around our kids and the long-term effects it may have on children's mental health.
